Donation News

It’s with immense gratitude and joy I announce a donation of $2980 has been made to aid the Chris Cornell Music Therapy Program in Seattle.

This would not have been possible without YOUR support, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for having faith in me, and for supporting my pledge to #KeepThePromise for Chris Cornell.

I’m thrilled to share with you an exciting announcement, following the appointment of Alyssa Monas, who will be a wonderful asset to the team and Chris’ program. Here is an excerpt from their internal March newsletter;

WELCOME OUR NEW MUSIC THERAPIST! I am excited to announce that Childhaven’s new music therapist Alyssa Monas will be starting next week. Alyssa is trained in clinical music therapy and has a rich background in the field, including work with clients on the autism spectrum, at assisted living facilities, and more. She’ll be working with you all very soon to integrate music therapy into our current treatment plans.
Alyssa says: “When I came across Childhaven’s website back in late 2016/early 2017, I knew immediately that it was a place I would want to work–so this quite literally feels like a dream come true. I thrive in a collaborative setting and am really excited to get to know the staff and work with them to make a difference in these children’s lives. I really love what I do and can’t wait to get things going!” Please give her a warm welcome when you see her!
